Children who are engaged with a variety of play types are naturally exposed to more experiences and types of stimuli. While at first glance, waterplay might simply seem to be a fun activity, children are actually learning how to interact and play with water and experiencing the wonder of water in completely new ways. Children are also encouraged to measure and explore how water shifts from one sized container to the next.
